Shift knob on 2013s

Was trying to put my Epco shift know on my '13 1LE, but couldn't get the factory knob off. Then I stumbled on a Google search of this website and saw a post where a guy broke his shift knob trying to get it off not knowing it had a setscrew in it. So, so the 2013 1LEs have a setscrew in the knob or not? I sure don't want to break my factory knob in case I decide to put it back on. Thanks for any help.

Well, sorry, but after I posted this on the 1LE subforum, it occurred to me that not everyone who could know about this issue reads the 1LE forum. If these posts offend you, you could always just ignore post.

More an annoyance. You spend the time to try and help someone, and then see they are posting the same topic all over the place. And it's common practice on most forums NOT to make multiple posts for the same topic.

In any case, good luck.

JimE is correct; he gave me the same info on the 1LE subforum, and my reply here was incorrect and impolite. I've apologized to him on the 1LE site and I apologize to him here. Thanks for this info; it helps a bunch. I just wasn't sure how many people would see it on the 1LE forum. My apologies again.
