This is not true. I have my '10 parked in a garage with a '69 and a '87 and the '10 has the highest roof. The '87 has the lowest by several inches. The '69 is close but it has been lifted about an inch in the rear for tire clearance. The low roof on these cars is an optical illusion created by the high belt line.

When I first looked at the Camaro, I'll have to admit, it was an issue getting in and out of the car. I'm 6'2" .
The odd slant of the bottom seat cushion, coupled with the roof line (head bumping) are the culprits.
And like was mentioned, I plop in, and then swing my body into position.
Once in, I'm perfectly fine and there's plenty of room.
I tried the Challenger, which frankly was easier to enter and exit. But the overall winner in my eyes was the Camaro.

Makes no sense.
The Camaro's headroom is 37.4" and the C6 Corvette has 37.7". Small difference but the Corvette still has more.
Additionally, all C6's have the same interior dimensions, regardless if it's a base coupe, Z06, ZR1, Grand Sport, etc. You probably just had the seat adjusted better in the Grand Sport.
