It seems that Tremec makes everything in-house.

Move your pointer over the different parts of the facilities to see what each part of the plant does. The TPS facility shows where they make the shafts. http://www.ttcautomotive.com/English.../queretaro.asp

I am a very proud owner of the SS Camaro manual and I love it no matter what!! As far as Honda do not get me started my Honda Accord was a death trap!! The wiring harness was installed wrong and caused many to catch on fire! That was just one of many recalls! Not only that but mine took off in PARK!! Luckily no one was hurt or killed! Just a Bank wall and the nose of the car, oh and get this the air bags did not deploy after hitting a brick wall and leaving a massive hole in the bank!! When I called Honda offering my car to them for free so they could tear it apart and find out what the issue was, they told me the legal department would get a hold of me, after several phone calls to Honda I gave up, had the car towed to a local transmission shop and we spent all day tearing the car apart, taking numerous photos and found that Honda failed to install lock washers on the linkage and it fell off leaving the car in drive when the shifter was in park! Called Honda again, still no letter no phone call nothing! So if you want to kill yourself go ahead buy a Honda!

Damn I hate cheap shots to the jewels. It's just wrong! lol
I obviously was misinformed in my quote tremec out sources the shafts. Although they still may, they do have the facility to do it. I found nothing specific to say that ours are treated there.

I UNDERSTAND people being frustrated!

BUT! If you think this is a problem only germain to GM/Chevrolet
If you think GM/Chevrolet intentionally/irresponsibly caused this
If you think GM/Chevrolet is not doing whats in everyones best interest
If you think people showing support for GM/Chevrolet is "blind faith"
.........

YOU. ARE. WRONG!

If anyone cannot find that they can post a response to this thread/issue without using foul language, bickering, bashing, etc., I ask you to refrain from posting.

Being that I actually read every post in this thread (yes, I'm a glutton for punishment) I know what you're talking about but the quote button would help people tremendously to know wtf you're talking about.

And yea, I've noticed the sort of "rocking" as well. I think it's normal in some (most, all?) manual transmissions I've seen other cars do it.

Yes, when the DIC notifies you of the skip shift, you can either wait a second til it goes away and then shift to 2nd or skip directly to 4th.
