Also most vendors here advertise the HID kits as Camaro HID kits. The cheaper sites advertise them as H13's. It seems that most places uses the Camaro tag to charge more. I'm really not trying to put any vendors down. I'm sure it looks like I am. But I'm really not. I would rather members save a few bucks if they can.
I am more then willing to explain more in PM if you want to know my reasoning. I just do not want to cross the line anymore then I already did in public.
Haha that is so true about it saying Camaro on there and it cost more. Actually I've seen some products that vendors sell here comparing them to the less expensive ones in real life and the less expensive work just as well if not better. Some examples I seen were fog lights & dome lights. I'm just speaking from what I see.

all i know is i went with ebay hids twice and it was a waste of money and time. i do agree with some things being overpriced do to it being "camaro specific", but this is a subject IMO, that you don't want to skimp on

the bulbs that came with the BFxenon kit are made by G.E. and not Mr. bulb

DDM is great stuff. I have used them on several cars now and still ricking out their kit on my Gixxer. Been there for 2 years, no problems.

And you don't get what you pay for. HID prices have dropped A LOT in the past 3-5 years.

DDM has been around for years and is well known in the BMW world. I remember going to them for my 05 ///M3.

They have been around for 9 years. That is a long time. If they were selling crap I'm sure they would have been long gone by now.

Ah yes, they can be slow to ship. Took me a month or so for my bike but I also ordered 12000K bulbs, and for my car, and they were out of stock.

I highly recommend them and I plan on ordering new HID builds for the Camaro from them.

Well, I ordered the 35W H13 Hi/Lo with the harness. I'll let y'all know how it works out.

It actually ended up costing around $80 with shipping, harness, and the Hi/Lo option but still a hell of a lot cheaper than other ones out there.

???

are you guys talking about THIS KIT HERE

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...FP%3AUS%3A1123

i have them on my 2007 cbr 1000rr and my 05 galant(just had the right bulb of course) and they worked great!!!

The way i see it. Buy 2 kits so if one fail you can just replace the other immediately lol. This company doesnt even ask questions they jsut send you a replacement ballast or bulb. i have seen some "camaro specific" HID kits for like $199 and i was like DAMN. i can buy 4 kits from ebay and just swap them out IF THEY GO BAD

just read there warranty and there other info!

I had a ddm hid kit for my last car which was a 09 lancer. They were on the car for over a year and were still working when i traded the car in. So in my opinion ill pay 35 bucks to get hid. And the kit I bought came with a relay harness so I wouldn't have to worry about melting my wiring harness.

DDM tuning is the best HID kit company I have come across. I have been doing retrofits for years and have had 1 bulb go bad on me in the 5 years I have been using them. The shipping is a little slow but I would never use another company besides them. They do honor their warranty for life as well. They are the best kits and the best price.

I finally got it in the mail but it's been raining the past couple of days so I haven't installed it. I'm a bit confused though. Am I supposed to connect to the battery in the trunk? How the heck do I do that?
