I had heard that the shipping time is less than it had been back in 2009. I hope so, it seemed like FOREVER after we were told that the car was shipped to get it in Oct 2009. Of course I have one already so I could head to the garage and take it for a spin but not the same as being able to put the "top down" and take a spin!!!!!!!! These cars are going to look AMAZING together in my garage.

My 1SS triple black convertible has a due date now. This is so exciting. Hope I have it by labor day. At least I'll get at least a month to drive it.

Yep 1st one. Had many muscle cars over the years but this is the first new one. My birthday is August 21st so I'm hoping to have it by then. Plus my 90 day note is up August 24th.

You will love it. We got my husbands in 2009 and I was saving for another Corvette but when I saw the convertible I decided to get it instead.

Way back in 2002 my wife said I could get a new one for my birthday if they ever started making them again. Needless to say I was pumped in 06 when I heard they were coming back. Disappointed though that the vert wasn't available in 09 when I turned 40. Now with my new one ordered I should have it near my 42nd birthday on August 21st. My first Camaro is my picture. 68 RS/Z28. Motor was long gone when I got it in 84. Restored it back and bored and stroked a small block to 302 CI with dual quads, turbo 400, and a 3.73 posi out back. Car would run mid 13's in the 1/4 and get about 12 mpg. Not bad for my first car at 14. Second Camaro was a 69 SS 350 Vert. That is the car that got me hooked on convertibles. It is still around and I was going to buy it back but the guy wanted about 6k more than I am paying for my new 1SS vert. I am going to get a picture of both of them together though sometime this summer.

Ha, I'm 6 mos older than you...42 in Feb this year. The only other Camaro we had was a 1989 RS convertible. It was a mess, bought for $2k put about $2k in it and my husband drove it for several years. I didn't like it, had no traction. Been too involved with Vettes lately,did not even plan to get a new Camaro. That is a whole other story!

Had a 77 Vette back in the late 80's. Nice car and handled really well. Was going to get a used C6 but with having 2 kids a 2 seater just didn't seem like a good idea. Plus I can get a new Camaro Convert for the same price as a used C6 convertible. This wait is going to drive me nuts. Only 3 more weeks till production. I can make it. I know I can.

Yeah...on the way home yesterday from our vacation home in TN my hubby said "what is the date" I told him and he said "your car will be built this month!" I think he is as excited as I am! I was saving for a used Z06 (2009 or newer) and decided I was enjoying our 2009 Camaro so much that why not get a new car instead of used. Then, I will save again for another Corvette, or not...by then the 50th ann Camaro will be out.
