The core charge is for your old diffuser; once the recieve your old one, they will return the core charge. If you don't send them your old one, they'll keep it.

Oh I see....my old one has minor damage (dent) will they still take it....?? So realistically we are buying refurbished items lol, because they just fix up the old part that people send back

I would contact them and describe the damage to them to see; if its just a dent, my guess is they will take it.

I just did a search on why they charge a core charge on plastic body pieces and it is to remove refurbished parts from availability. So they can sell more new pieces.

Search around, you'll find it without a core charge. I got mine from Summit Racing a while ago without a core charge. I realize that mine is different but I'm sure you'll be able to find it somewhere

Edit- Summit has a core charge too

What if the fascia or lighting assembly is badly damaged?

Broken, damaged, or destroyed lighting assemblies are considered acceptable as cores as long as they are in the replacement part’s box. Broken, damaged, or destroyed fascias are considered acceptable as cores as long as they are labeled with the peel-away portion of the replacement part’s label.

I'm curious how fast they can refund you back for the core charge once you send your old rear diffuser to them??
