BTW, anyone know what part of the car Speed was referring to in his post about bolting into the "header" and not the bumper? Thanks

Meh, couple of pics, was hoping to see someone's planned aluminum or plastic backgaurd fitted in, but here's a couple from that forum that weren't viewable, I hope tinypic.com does the job:

It's like having a conversation with myself. Anyways, Summit has them cheapest for $53/pair, w/ 2-way switch wiring harness and 7 color LED Angel Eyes I guess:
http://www.pilotautomotive.com/Produ...7267&PCID=1066

Summit also has the headlight covers for $50: clear, smoke or carbon fiber

I was going to take some black plastic clipboard and cut out a shroud to fit around the lights, then the transmission went out in the car and everything went on hold

Saw them at Pep Boys for $45. They weren't 7 color LED angel eye rings though (maybe a new feature?). I'm sure they could order them in from their supplier, Keystone.

There's also similar ones with blue LED angel eyes and a strobe light:

yeah, they were smoked/blacked out covers. and they did diminish the light quantity when driving, but if I was driving at night with them on, I just turned the brights on and drove with all 4 lights on.

Bulb style?

You've got my very first post here.
I did read the entire thread but may have missed the information I seek. Here's a few questions, please forgive me if they are already answered.

1. As these are driving lights, do they have any diffusion or directional pattern in the lense or is it just plane, clear glass?

2. Are these sealed beam or is there a replaceable lock-in bulb?

3. If the lights have replaceable bulbs, what style are they - H4?

Thanks for putting together this great thread...

BTW, if I can do it, I'll mention you as the one who sent me to BrandSport for the purchase.

You gotta wander through the thread a little slower man... Here's some answers though:
1. They are in projector lenses so the light is directed
2. They have replaceable bulbs
3. 55 Watt H3 bulbs - (from Brandsport link description and info)

Check out your local stores though, give them the Pilot Automotive NV-538W part number and see what prices you can get locally. You may have to wander around the stores because Pep Boys didn't have that part number in their system even. Damn assclowns.
