The Pirellis were a 'softer' tire - treadware somewhere about 220, these are rated at 460 or 480 if I recall. Will last longer - not as sticky.
There is always trade-offs.

Had these for a month now. Definitely less forward traction than stock in dry conditions.

Wet weather performance far exceeds stock pzero's.

I bought these because, a) my stock tires were worn out, and b), I had bad experiences in the wet(and snow) with the pzero's.

Im very happy so far. Just don't expect these to impress you from a slow or stopped punch. You'll light em up.

I will be needing a new set of tires this fall and was looking for some all weather tires. It was stated these are cheaper that the stock tires. App what is a set of the 20inch for the RS running?

Finally drove with mine on today. They get better grip in the rain than the stock Pzeros, I don't know if it was the wheels or the springs I installed but I can hear them a little more than the Pzeros. But I like them so far.

Just ordered a set through Rudy/Tire Rack! Can't wait to test them out....look like a great tire based on reviews. I also was thinking the Continental...but didn't want to get stuck without an option....NJ rain has been bad lately.

Great info guys. I think I'll order a set of the General G-Max AS-03 tires next week.
I don't drive my SS in the snow but I have to get the P/Zeros off this winter.
I'm so tired of waiting for the Cont Extreme DWS all season tires.

Hey can you guys post some nice pictures of your cars with the tires one them? They sound great but I'd really like to see how they look installed before ordering them!!! Thanks!

Well here I go again.
I just came back from my local tire dealer (Town Fair Tire). I was going to order a set of the General G-Max AS-03's. They advised they are on backorder from their supplier. First I wanted the Conti Extreme DWS- I have been trying to get them for over a year with no luck due to a backorder.
Town Fair is suggesting the Toyo Proxes 4 all weather tires which are available. Is anyone familiar with these ? I've purchased toyo tires before but want the best for my SS. This shouldn't be so hard !

Wow those went fast. I only ordered mine this weekend, but from two different suppliers through Tire Rack...one in Delaware another in Georgia...got killed on shipping. I agree I don't know why it's so hard to find all season tires for the Camaro. Can't help with the Toyo's... never tried them. Good luck and I hope you find something soon.
