Is there a section for scammers, to let people know who they should be aware of?

If you are talking about members here that are scamming the best thing to do is report the post to the admin team so they can remove the POS. Use the little red triangle at the bottom of the post.

^^^^ This is what I do with them, and there has been quite a few lately!!

Just have to look at their join date, number of posts, what they are driving, (honda civic)?? And click on their screen name and look at their "other" posts, and you will get a good idea!!

Post a warning in the particular thread or threads to give others a heads up then immediately report the scammer to one of the mods.

That’s what I did is try to warn others, he is a member since November,replied to my add for a wind deflector, sold me a wind deflector and immediately asked for more money for shipping, refused to refund, its in my banks hands now, but a pita. I also left a message on his profile so if anyone does a quick search on this forum it will pop up. Funny, someone left him a warning about looking out for scammers in his search for zl1 recaro seats

To answer your question there is a section for sellers & vendors where it would be appropriate to post that.

I have an old civic I drive for mpg and to not have my Camaro stolen and door dinged in crowded parking lots.
That must qualify me for a new line of work.

Anyone want to buy something? I have every known part you are looking for, just wire the money to my bank account first. It's in Nigeria but I'll say it's in your home town.

Ironic that I just found this thread, I was just looking around the forum trying to figure out where best to post exactly the same thing. Thanks @Aqua Blue RS/SS, I hadn't noticed that and just went and did it. I recently pm'ed 2 members on items for sale, and within 24hrs got pms from scammers trying to get me to contact them about the item I'd inquired about. My son got scammed here just recently (he's young, no forum experience), luckily his bank reimbursed him. I'll skip the boring details, but my son was banned because of what happened, and I'd like to contact a moderator to discuss the matter now that I found out what happened. Can someone please direct me how best to do this? Thanks.

Yea, you're better off to just PM them.. If you look at the bottom of the forum when you are logged in, it will show the mods in RED lettering.
