Why does everyone think the L99 is so much slower than the LS3? I have been right on the LS3 advertised times in my L99. I don't understand why so many people are getting bad times.

Thought GM, as well as most other testers, stated that the auto was slightly quicker in the 0-60 by like .1 or .2 secs and the LS3 in the 1/4 by like .1 or .2 secs.

Some of those times are really high. I ran a 12.9 1/4 in my '05 GTO with slicks a couple times. Some of those were like 13.8 and 13.9

Really? didn't think it would be like a 13.8 down to 12.9 difference.

You can't compare different cars and drivers.
Slicks can easily knock off a .3-.5 in a 1/4 though

Alot of the guys on here have a problem spinning the tires , but once I turn everything off and hit it I spin just fine. I must have gotten a strong L99. Have about 1600 miles on it so far. Dealer said it wouldn't be near full power until like 3000 or so.
