All factory. I have a Borla exhaust and CAI Intake, but those are probably the only two things that actually work properly, lol.

Gr8ride, the trick is to have the Camaro AND an SUV (note the SUV doesn't have to be brand-spankin new, just cool)

With my new commute to work, gas is going to kill me on my v6. Thinking about trading it in for something a lil more gas friendly and then buy a SS as a toy.

... but, on topic: My sister- in- law has a 2010 SS. She loves bragging about it all day long, and is always quick to point out how she would NEVER drive one of those "piece of shit V6 Camaros--- oh, sorry..."

But, she doesn't drive it. Why? Because it is SO uncomfortable, and just painful to ride in. She and her husband tried to take it to Vegas once (about 200 miles each way) and it was the "most miserable experience" of their lives. Torture. Awful ride, rotten driver. So, it sits in her driveway. Yes, it gets washed once every week by her Boy Friday, and the boasting about how much better her car is than my car, but it sits, rarely driven. She hates it... but loves being able to SAY that she has a Camaro... an SS, don't forget... better than those piece of shit V6s, at least...

In my first three months of owning mine, I put more miles on mine than she has yet put on hers (in over four years). My wife and I take it to Vegas frequently... and are damn comfortable in it. My three year anniversary with the car is upon us, and there's not a day that goes by that I don't think, "Oh, HELL YES! That car is mine, and I get to DRIVE IT!" I could wax exceeding upon the reasons I love my Camaro, but, as that's not the thread topic (and since there are currently 35,220 threads I could participate in that ARE that topic), I'll just keep with, yes... my SIL hates her Camaro.

I'm in 1.5 hours of traffic to ge home from work with a clutch. That is what I meant as impractical for me. Also it snows a lot in NY sometimes.

I've had mine for 2 years this week. it's my dd
I'm trading it in soon.

It's too heavy and oversized for my liking.
I mean, it takes tugboats to park he thing
The seats suck, took a 3k mile trip last year. not a comfortable car at all.

The only time this car is fun to have is on a perfect summer day with the top down
I will miss is the convertible top.
And the CRT paint

Not looking to start a Camaro bashing topic (as in, why does someone say they wouldn't buy a Camaro)...but people who liked the idea of owning a Camaro enough to get one...then changed their mind.

EDIT: Some seem to think I'm taking about emotional attachment to a car...I'm just talking about, having had experience living with a Camaro, what reasons someone has had for trading/selling it that stem from something they discovered they did not like about the car.

Also, some have mentioned the practicality reasons of trading/selling a Camaro, so I am wondering about those as well...as some of those reasons can fall under the practicality of this specific car.
I can't imagine why anyone would care if someone doesn't like their car.

My V8 SS is my daily driver. Love driving it every day. I don't care about the gas mileage at all. I don't even check it. I have no problems or comfort issues taking it on an 8 hour or longer trip. I usually keep all my vehicles 10 years so I'm sure this will be the same.

Im with you, I daily drive mine. Even after I Cammed and Supercharged, I still daily drive it and will for probably at least another 3-4 Months. I love my car and everything about it. Except the damn cup-holder placement...

I had a 2LT RS... all options I wanted... but left me wanting more.

So I traded for a 2SS RS... all the power I wanted... but left me wanting more.

Test drove a Cayman S and first corner I took I was hooked. For me the fun in driving is in the corners not the straight-a-ways.

Still love Camaros (one reason I still come to this site) and I still have my Camaro friends.

That was the reason I got the 1le. And in the corners, it's GREAT. But it's still a big, heavy, car. Fun to drive when it's working, but even more fun when you're pushing it in the corners.
