That SS bumper is Growing on me. I need to see it in another color?

Agreed?

no...not a gladiator... that's a stage name anyway I'd imagine.

watch that ignition video again, and you'll see the panels light up as well. pay particular attention to the photo I quoted...at the end on the drivers side you can see how thick those panels are going to be, and light illuminates through them...as you can see the stark neon blue in the edge of the panel on the driver's side.

did anyone notice the left and right circular air vents are copied from Pontiac (namely the Grand Prix)?

to me it doesn't look like true dual climate control...as it looks like the fan module and temp module is universal...just the positioning of air flow is dual.

No, but I did notice the middle rectangular air vents were copied from HUMMER (namely the H3).

My thoughts EXACTLY, I don't understand why the lower grill looks like that

I like the SS, but the V6 looks finished and the SS does not. I'm hoping for a change and if not, it really is no big deal. I'll just change it.

Wait a min... is that lower a grill a 'nod' to the old school Camaro. Look at the lower grill with the grill of the 69 Camaro. Very similar... I'm guessing the grill was on purpose now...

I'm starting to see what they were thinking if this is true...

I still like the original concept grill and V6 production model better than the SS grill. The vote we all did on the SS grill in that thread the admin is talking about was based on looking at the silver Christian Slater SS spyshot.. At the angle taken in that photo, the grill doesn't look bad, and perhaps better than a lot of the spyshots of the original grill on pre-pro's. Now after seeing the reveal of the V6 the other day, and many more angles of the SS grill.. There is no contest that the V6 now looks better than the V8. I change my vote on that one..

I love this car. I think I won't be able to wait for the Z/28. By this time next year I'll make my decision.

good call. the lower new SS grill looks a bit like the center 1st-gen ss grill.

however, i hope, as others have said, that this new 5th gen lower ss grille gets redesigned, a bit. it just doesnt look quite right, as-is.

maybe i will chance "cooking" my V8 by replacing the SS bumper with the "non-prius" V6 (concept faithful) bumper.

Lucy has some 'splainin to do.

are these dash and door panels really going to have that lighting effect?

...at first thought, it would seem like they'd be a b&$CH to keep in immaculate form...with normal wear and tear on the car...and dust particles getting caught behind the panel surfaces

EDIT: I just saw the ignition video again, and I can now see the effect throughout the panels. WOW! SO my new question is, since this one is Blue and that one was Red, how many different colors do we think they'll come in? a color matching the paint job?
yes, its real and yes, its awesome... only the cars with the "inferno orange accent" package will get the red... the ice blue color will be standard... and when you see it in person, its completely aweinspiring.

oh, and as for the dual zone climate controls, look closely at this close up IVER pic:

Ah, ha, now that makes sence. Wonder what was up with the other control pic, unless there is going to be some sort of dual control option. Just noticed Oooo almost to the 500 mark.
