Freaking Unbelievable!....

When I had my 2011 LS at 42k miles a valve spring broke, was without my car 3 long weeks.

7 months after the first repair the oil pump went out, bent up several rods. (No CELS were given) New motor was put in, was without my car for 2 weeks.

2 months after the new motor was put in, the fly wheel broke. Was without my car 3 days.

February 6, 2014 that car was totaled

Bought a new 2014 SS

Now, here we go again

I got a CEL last night, brought the car to the dealer this morning. Just got the call that the valve in cylinder #7 is sticking. Car only has 2660 miles and needing engine work. Haven't even made my first car payment yet.

Edit: It's a valve sticking in cylinder #7

That's certainly unusual. I'd recommend an oil change and only using gas that has detergents in it. Low grade gas has a significant affect on your car.

I've heard of bent rod, thrown rod, and bad rod bearings, but what the hell is a stuck rod? Sorry about your luck, that sucks.

Sounds like you need a new brand of car. Bad luck.

I changed from the factory oil to mobil 1 yesterday morning. I've only used 93 octane gas from name brand stations. Only time my car has seen low octane gas is when the dealer filled it up the day I bought it.

Never heard of that either. If I were the OP I would stay out of Las Vegas, because his luck sucks for sure . Hopefully he is lucky in love .

I think this is a 3.6 issue only and not a 6.2 issue. My friends 2012 CTS got a rod knock at only 25000 miles and got a new engine under warrantee.

With all that problems, one question. How you drive your car???? bend rods, sticking rods... Are you driving that thing dry? or always on the limiter? Manufacturer mistakes? wth....

2 Cars same thing?! sounds odd to me!
