Adam's Great White Drying Towel
Has anyone else happened to run into the problem of the great white drying towel leaving a sort of streak or something like that? I dont really know how to explain it but it kind of looks like it streaked but even after its dry. I dry with my blue waterless wash towels and it doesn't happen. So I'm thinking that its the great white towel? Any suggestions on how to stop it?

I have never washed the towel.
This is happening to my great white drying towel. My blue waterless wash towels don't seem to have this problem. Also, I do sheet rinse panels. I usually sheet rinse, use a leaf blower and then just dab up what is left. My leaf blower recently went out on me :( and I haven't been able to get another one yet. So that is when I started noticing this |

Towel needs to be washed. You've picked something up that is causing streaks. Either wax residue, tar, something along that line.

Wow, didn't know it had to be washed that much.... I'll wash it and see what happens. Anyone got any detergent they recommend?

Instructions according to Junkman: Wash in cold water on gentile cycle with just a little bit of mild soap, like Woolite. Do not use fabric softner. Dry on lowest heat or line dry. Do not use fabric sheets. I've been using this procedure for nearly three years and it works great.

Agreed, I wash all my towels after every use. You don't want contaminants transferring to your car from wash to wash.

Like what junk man said, or I use arm & hammer with no perfumes or dyes and works great

Waterless wash towels and great whites are made from the exact same material and weave, only difference is size/color so I'd suspect your towel needs to be washed. Follow the directions in this write up and you should be good to go:
