Word of caution. Better upgrade tires if you have a few bolt ons with flex fuel. I bought cheapo rear tires to get logging for brett and even going 65mph mine wants to dig and go so spins them a little. Car is entirely different.

I have a flex fuel sensor , 2" headers and x pipe to the stock muffler, rotofab dry filter, new ngk plugs 6 rating, ceramic plug wires, and for that fscm module they are referencing a low side zl1 pump i installed. I have no idea hp and torque but it still has TM on it for regular driving and is evil. You can request on the final tune to get one with it off if you drag but isn't recommend for daily driving and i now see why.

I have been communicating with Brett since he bought a 6th gen and he even told me that his base tune gets the WOT AFR pretty close on for mild bolt-on cars. Part throttle and idle can be dialed in by fuel trim logging and adjusting the maf curve. Brett will likely give the OP a base tune without a wideband, he will just require it to make any further fueling adjustments. Again if you go with his proven packages(rotofab, ported IM/TB, Headers...etc) his base tune pretty much puts the fueling where it needs to be. I have seen his base tune break 10's in the 1/4 with one of his bolt-on packages.

It is...2016 requires 1 credit for ECU, 1 credit for TCM, 1 credit for FSCM. Since you are manual you don't have a TCM, so it's 2 credits.

I just got into mine last week and it took 3 credits, 2 for the ECU and 1 for the FSCM.

If you don't have a wideband there is no way to tell what your AFR is and to properly log the AFR you have to have a wideband bung.

Just ordered my gauge for when I eventually get a tune. Going with TSP 1 7/8 LT. Are you able to just use the rear o2 sensor bung? Or am I going to have to weld one in?

So to have Pray do remote tuning do i have to buy the $700 kit (i have a 2017)from Skidmark garage and then pay Pray $600 for the tune? I am trying to weigh my options as well for mods going forward (H/C) as i am not completely happy with my current tuner. I'm trying to decide if i have Vengeance Racing do the tune for $990 (they are local and a nationally recognized GM performance shop) or bite the bullet for a few more hundred and have Brett do it. Any thoughts?

Hey can you send me your contact info I need a person to help me get a pray tune

I did the full Pray remote tune package with the AEM wideband, HP Tuners hardware and downloaded the software. I went this way after using a local tuner on a dyno for the flex fuel kit and existing bolt-ons and was dissatisfied. What I know:

- Buy his package deal
- You don't have to weld an extra bung in your exhaust to datalog, you can pull the secondary O2 sensor and screw the AEM sensor in temporarily, per Brett's directions

- Enjoy the improvements and no side effects

It seems that indeed you don't have to weld an extra bung in your exhaust to datalog, you can pull the secondary O2 sensor and screw the AEM sensor in temporarily, according to what Brett told me as well. For me this is important because I do not want to weld another bung onto my exhaust. However, wouldn't that throw a CEL? I suppose you will have to disable the rear O2 sensors with HP Tuners. How do you do that?
