1LE 3.91 Diff trade for 3.45/3.73 rear end?

Just bought this 1Le 3.91 diff from Tosto racing. Installed. Works perfect. 2500 miles on it. But it's just too tall for my poor Camaro now.

Would like to swap diffs with someone who has 3.45/3.73s

3.73 takes precedence.

I am in Missouri. Willing to meet/work out details

Currently in my car as it is my daily, so miles will go up a few a day.

Why do you say its too tall now?

I thought you were a performance oriented fella? The 3.91s will help you accelerate quicker.

With my v6 manual, and going to 285/35s, I'm spinning at 28-2900 RPM at 70mph.

Just a bit too much for my liking.

Sounds like a tire problem. What tires are you using?

Get some Nitto 555Rs, NT05Rs or Toyo R888s.

Problem solved.

Not a tire "spinning" problem. I mean RPMs are too high

I mean I am driving around in 6th gear at 28-2900 rpm at 70mph.

I want my FDR to be lower basically

Man too bad, 3.91's are mean. I have accepted the highway RPMs are high and just go 60 instead. Just love the low end grunt the thing has with em.

Oh they are certainly fun for sure. I just think 3.73s would be perfect

Ah ok. 28-29 hundred rpms is actually not bad at all. You could also get a slightly taller tire to bring the Rs down a little.

I would KILL to either change my 3.91s for some 4.10s or have the regular SS transmission with them more agressive gearing ratios.

I wish you were in California. I would trade you my 3.45's out of my 5000 mile 2015 SS in a heartbeat.
