Bet you its your exhaust cooling/pinging.

Happens after exhaust heats up and your prolly hearing it cause the temp is dropping faster and lower these nights.

Yes it's normal. I heard it all the time when I had my stock exhaust. Never hear it with the Corsa exhaust. It is caused by the steel in the exhaust expanding and contracting. It will not hurt anything.

OP when you go to the dealer do you ride with them to show them it is doing it? I needed a new torque converter, and they couldn't replicate it until I rode along with them and made it happen. I have stock exhaust and I don't hear noises. it never hurts to ask. Good luck

Let that person out of the trunk and the noises will stop.
