3+ black better battery life smaller and I like the lock for the case better

Assuming you want to use it in th car... would you be mounting inside or out? There are better options if you're looking for an interior dash-cam, e.g. Finevu CR-500HD.

Just checked this out. Really nice piece. Amazon sells it for $255, which is much more appropriate than the gopro's $400.

Hero 3 black edition with the suction cup mount. I've used it multiple times inside and outside of the car.

Is the go pro hero 3 that much better over the 2? I want a hero 3 but don't know if I can pay 300-400 for one so I thought it might be good to settle for a 2
