LED Brake and Turn Bulbs

Does anyone sell the 3157 LED bulb for the brake and rear turn lights which is just plug and play and doesn't need a resistor?

well it doesnt "need" a resistor BUT, without the resistor, you will get the "hyperblink" and your car will continually bitch about one of the tailights being out.

you can find the bulb on ebay, amazon, etc.

you can also try

gen5DIY and diodedynamics

Yeah, that’s what I was trying avoid. I figured someone had a “built-in” solution that does require splicing in a resistor.

^^^^Thanks! I know the individual resistors are fairly cheap, but I may go this route just for convenience sake.

Do you have to use one for every bulb you replace?

After doing research, I'd probably go with the plug and play harness that was in a post above. The harness is not much more than just buying the load resistor separately.

O ok so the front turn signal would need one and the other lights are the turn lights for us so they would need one, but the inner ones would not because they are just brake light.
