Have a Quick Question for y'all

So im sure just about everyone on here with 5 gen zl1 have had the blower replaced....i had mine replaced last week and its is already going to crap...i still have the very loud rattle...my question is with the replacement blower they put on it does NOT have a solid isolator...is this common?? I remember reading a lot of y'alls post saying the replacement ones SHOULD have a solid isolator...I now have an appointment at 8 am tomorrow to get another loaner and lose my baby for another week....Thanks ahead of time for helping me out.

GM voided my warranty and would not replace mine and I totally understand and don't have a problem with that. Business is business. However at about 27,000 miles when blower was off for cam I had the isolator replaced. I have not had a peep since, although it has only been 2000 mi.

I'm on my 4th supercharger now. The first 3 had the old isolator and died fro the squawk of death. The new one has the solid one and sounds like crap. GM says its a flutter, but sounds like a rattle to me. The "flutter" is at idle and goes away after about 1k rpm. Its horrible sounding, makes anybody cringe when they hear it and I complained every time up to the 120k warranty expiration. GM insists is normal and wont break. I have about 80k miles on this one and it hasn't died or changed its sound, so, knock on wood, it will stay that way.
So you're probably fine, but don't be surprised when the new one sounds like crap too.

I thought I read on here that GM's new replacement blowers now contain an updated version of the old spring isolator that caused the initial service bulletin. I know early on the replacement blowers were supposed to come with a solid isolator. My blower was replaced just before I purchased my car, and it has been whisper quiet thus far.

That's ridiculous. If your warranty is in place and the warrantied part is faulty then they must do it again. Try another dealership but I'd report your current one.
