Well I just got back from Firestone and as one would guess I went with the Indy 500's. The initial drive was nice. The car felt a little less stiff so it could go to Peralj10's comment about weaker sidewall, but I haven't done any extreme cornering yet and I don't usually anyway. They seem to hook up well and I love the look of the aggressive tread pattern. This is a newer design Indy 500 so perhaps some of the negative feedback was from the previous design. Either way, I'm hoping these hold up well and give me good life because for the 10-15 miles I've driven so far I like them.

I noticed they don't turn quite as quickly as the stock Pirelli tires did, but are much more sure-footed if you get caught in the rain, are quiet, and are quite capable for the sort of driving I do. I'm not auto-crossing or the like. I'm on my second season with them but not a lot of miles, so can't really comment on longevity but whatever wear there is is even.

When I first purchased my car the Firestones were on it. I didnt care for them much they were loud running down the road. I currently have Continentals DWS and like them.

Not on my Camaro obviously but I have G2s on 2 different vehicles and love them. Not the best for traction but all around great tire. I have probably over 35k miles on current set on my SRT

I had Continental DWS on the car prior. Not bad tires, but a little pricey. They were $80 a tire more than the Firestone ones.
