It's accurate. I've saved all my gas slips and entered them into Excel. My car and Excel agree within 0.1 mpg!

I had been avoiding looking because I really didn't want to know...but I'm at 13.7 since new; 5500 miles. I just thought the tank was small....

It depends on how far apart the gas stations are.

boosted car are all over the MAP on milage. I can get 20-21mph in my manaul hyper-miling on the freeway.
you can always get over what a manufacturer says if you drive to get milage. I can get 11-13mpg lead footing aorund town with minor mods and I could get it down there stock as well. there is no way I can maintain over 20mpg with many stop though. the only way I can get over that is speed down, slow starts, minimal stops. I seem to get about 15mpg driving normal to my habits. my Z06 was 24 freeway, 17 wooding on it and 20 driving how I drive. even at 7.0L which drank gas it was not quite as broad of range.

...I've always been at 12.4.....but it's a pleasure car for me. Happiness is overated, joy is infinite.

Prior to installing my Roto-Fab cold air intake, my ZL1 averaged around 12 miles per gallon. Now I'm averaging around 14 miles per gallon.

700 miles on mine.. Just did a 380 mile trip down to bakersfield and at the pump I got 18.59mpg with my auto. I was surprised since I was on and off the gas the whole way "breaking it in" Sat around 70mph shifting between 5th and 6th and varying speed +or- 10 mph.. Ac on the whole way
