We're coming from Spokane, but we're leaving early Friday morning to go over and see Dennis' mom, daughter, and grandson for the afternoon & stay the night in Sedro Woolley, then meet the group on Saturday morning.

OK, I just made reservations for dinner at Sun Mountain Lodge.

The reservations are for 7:45pm which will give everyone some time to see Winthrop before meeting up to drive up the "mountain" for dinner.

I made reservations for 15-20, as some may not want to go with us.

I'll get a better head count in the morning so I can firm up the number with Sun Mountain Lodge. There may be some people meeting us in Winthrop from the East part of the state, so let me know if that applies to you so I can add you to the headcount for dinner (if you want to go).

I've also talked to the 59er diner last week about this, but it's a smaller place. They know we're coming around 12:00-12:30 though.

Will probably be going for the cruise, but won't be staying overnight. Depends on weather

Just got "official" word that Route 20 will not be open by the 7th. I was pretty sure that'd be true, but here's the reply.

Quote:
Hi Dennis,
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there’s no chance of the pass opening by May 7. The west and east side crews are still separated by more than 10 miles of snow-covered highway. And it’s the stretch that is most heavily buried, and most difficult and dangerous to clear. It’s going to be several more weeks before we get the highway open.

Enjoy Stevens Pass; if you’re lucky, it won’t be snowing.

Dustin

That is too bad, but not unexpected. Count in 2 for dinner for us in case you are keeping a list. Just a couple of days longer

question. I'm trying to make reservations, where is everyone staying? I'm just going to call people up today and see who has rooms

can't wait...

Might want to mark me for four for the dinner. I think there will be two couples in my car if im right (and can find rooms).

Yes, we all got 1 night reservations. Mention that you are coming with a Camaro5 cruise, and they -should- do the same for you. You might want to call if you don't hear back from them right away by e-mail.

Looks like I will definitely not be attending. Couldn't negotiate around mother's day plans with the family.
