Ticking sound when shifting to 2nd gear
With 1500 miles on my 2012 2lt/rs auto, I hear a ticking sound when shifting to 2nd gear, I hear the ticking sound almost every time the gear shifts from first gear to second gear at low speed, I haven't tried it on at high acceleration.
Any one with experience on this issue?

To the OP: I have this sound on my 2012 2SS/RS A6. It's been there since new, I've always assumed it to be normal.

Don't think it's normal just yet. Lol I've had to have rods replaced in my car what is coming to be for the second time. In fact the dealer said it would more than likely come down to replacing the motor. I first noticed mine when I drove it in manual tap shift, the car is an automatic. By the time my oil change was due you could hear it in auto or manual nearly through all gears when the peak rpms were met before switching gears.
