Awesome to hear!

Has anyone ever had an issue with doing a costco auto order? Has a dealer ever turned away or refused the order?

COSCO??

How long do you have to be a COSCO member in order to get the deal?

You can buy a Costco membership and then participate in the car buying program immediately after. The dealer will probably ask for your card so if you order your membership online you will have to go do the Costco near you to get the card first . (they make the cards right there in the store takes 5 minutes)

My dealer told me that you had to wait 60 days after purchasing the membership which wasn't a problem since I ordered my car. It did save my about $1700 off MSRP

Make sure you get any rebates/programs that you qualify for in addition to the COSTCO pricing. I have never heard of any waiting period and several friends got their membership just prior to their purchase.

FYI, just verified that my dealer will honor the Costco discount. Also confirmed that they will begin accepting orders for 1LE's on 9/8 along with the ZL1's. Here's hoping for a silky smooth order process and getting my car by the end of October. Realistically I'm expecting sometime in November though.

Your dealer should be able to do better than the Costco discount...

How do you figure? What are you guessing the costco discount might be? Approx $2,000?

My friend got $1800 off if I recall. His msrp was 45 or so...don't remember exactly.

Remember, it's just an option package, so dealers should deal on them just like any Camaro. $2000 off a car with a $44,400 sticker that isn't any sort of limited production car isn't that great IMO.

Fair enough. I'm definitely going to do my best to get a little more off of it, but at least its a better starting point.

And drop that $500 'Farmer discount' on there as well. Hopefully it can be combined with the Costco discount, unlike with supplier pricing.

I wish there was a list somewhere of exactly what discounts, incentives, etc can and can't be combined...would make things easier.

There is. Ask your local sales person to pull it up.
