That sounds fine.

LS engines have a slight tick, it's normal.

I'm having concerns with mine as well now only because I just bought the car and it came modified. I guess without the covers and headers my car will naturally be much louder? Gm just did there thing with the car and said everything was good but they didnt specifically inspect the valve train noise as I didnt mention it at the time.

My rule of thumb:
If it sounds like a sewing machine, youre good.
If it doesn't, youve got a problem lol

Hello guys, my 2015 RS Camaro has a slight tapping noise (sounds like a piece of paper touching lightly a fan) especially when cold. I wonder, is that a normal sound for these engines or I need to get it shorted.
The car was serviced and passed MOT very recently so I don’t really wanna take it in yet.
It did make that sound ever since I picked it up btw

I would recommend changing all fluids and filter front to rear. Start with a fresh base line!
