Oh believe me, I was too!! I especially want to say thank you to the fantastic people at the Bondurant Driving School who went way above and beyond to help me, get my car fixed and get me back on the road. They were absolutely terrific.

The glue let go and the carbon tube spun on the aluminum joint at the differential end. This was the second one that had done this (another customer had the same issue) so Frank was explaining that he had a hunch he knew what was going on with the glue. He'd already talked with 3M who makes the glue and came up with a different process for curing it during assembly. He's going to send an aluminum shaft to me for a temporary replacement while getting the cf situation solved. Since I've already had the cf one this will be an opportunity to see how much actual difference it makes between that and an aluminum one. If I can't tell any real difference (although I suspect I will because the aluminum one should transfer more noise) I might just keep it... but we'll see.

I heard of a few that broke. One from Doc himself, others were just by ear walking around and talking to others.

I cooked a set of twin turbo's, but was able to get back on the road and made one pass, but the car is in need of some care from her builder....

After spinning second well and hard into the rev limiter and blowing a flame 15 foot out the tail pipe, and then spinning third and fourth, I decided not to make any more passes since I had 900 miles to drive her home...I'm home and she will be in the hands of her builder in the morning...

Above all of this though, I had an amazing time...and am very appreciative of all the support...

Like I told someone else, if you get off the porch to play with the big dogs, you occasionally sprain an ankle... You fix it and move on...

I know Kyle's clutch is shot, hoping he was able to get it trailered home to TX...the white Camaro with a lot of carbon fiber and the one-off USW wheels rolled a bead at the Pfadt track but I saw was rolling again by the end but the wheel is pretty damaged...I know Jarrod had his washer fluid bottle come off and suck into his pulley for his S/C and shread that bad boy to pieces...all in all though considering how many cars and how hard guys were pushing them it wasn't too bad...

Oh Heck, I am the one who lost the blower pulley, I also had a set of HD half shafts and a drive shaft with me in case anyone needed them, but never heard anything.
Had a lot of fun though!

I'd have been going nuts....but what a way to look at it. Looking forward to seeing what happens as a final result.

What happened to the pulley and did it damage the Maggie? I brought along the OEM 1-1 pulleys along with belts for the cog and non-cog drives.
