If im not mistaking on the road wrap website there video states if you are not happy send it back.
I would make them fix my issues if I were you folks. or atleast give me my money back for the wrap I purchased. As soon as mine came in yesterday I went ahead and called to send it back. They asked me why I was sending it back I said I was going a different route with protection however mine was never even opened. Thanks everyone for the feedback |

well i installed it just like everyone else did, then took it off at our first stop, just like most. then once to camaro fest, i read the box, it talked about cutting into strips. i also use to tilt windows, so i started to "think" like a window tinter. before i left home from camaro fest, i cut the film in 5 inch strips, i stop before each corner, cut in the corners, and bam, it was still on 950 miles later, pulled it off when i got home, no damage.
like window tint you cant go all the way to the edge or it will peel. that was my first mistake. try putting window tint on a curved surface in a whole piece and it will peel. so anyway, i would use it again on a long, fast road trip.. lupe |

but we ordered road wrap, not window tint! ;-) I still think this stuff is garbage. Maybe if you took it and had it proffesionaly installed it would work better, but then that defeats the point of it being cheap and easy to use.

my mistake, i think like most here, and im not guessing, because i saw alot of friends ripping it off there ride just like i did, we had it going around the edges. this is what i did, and it worked for me, i not a professional, i just tried it a different way when it failed the first time, but like window tint sold at pepboys or autozone, its is meant to be a cheaper easier way, well i know it not for everyone, for some it works, for most it doesn't. lupe |

Wow, you guys must have tried to wrap your whole vehicles up. When I used the 6" wide roll it worked great. But I only put it on the front fascia and mirrors. No way it's going to stay on the hood or sides of the car. Why would you put it on the hood? I've never had a bug stuck to my hood. I was surprised too that so many people went for the 18" rolls, how the heck did you even get that on?
Too bad it worked so poorly for so many. Sounds like the blue tape is the better option. |

I've never had a problem with it; I make a point of traveling long distance with road wrap. It's never caused damage to my vehicle. On the other hand, I've yet to travel to Arizona with it on.
The key with road wrap is to put it on in sections, and to apply it as taut as possible. If the edges don't meet flush with the panels it will come loose from driving, for sure. I'll definitely keep my eye on it in the future (judging from the responses). Edit: Now I realize why calcarcover was out of the 6" rolls lol!

On there video demonstration they don't cut it up into small 5" pieces. The lady starts from one side and rolls it over to the other side. Looked simple. That's why I got it!

The stuff is GARBAGE....... wrap the girlfriend up in it just don't tell the wife..... Seriously it got wind and rain under it and the dirt scratched and marred the front of the hood and stripes.. Big thanks to Adams for buffing out most of it and selling me products to finish when I get going today.
