Painted fuse box cover
Finished and cleared my fuse box cover. Was going to do text saying "american muscle" but figure the Bowtie speaks to that . Just need to wetsand and polish once it dries.

Thanks guys!
How long did it take? Man if I added it up I'd probably be in shock, but I had fun doing it. Props to the guys who do this every day and sell the stuff. I had to sand off the raised parts of the cover. Then spray hi build primer and sand that to get it all leveled. Then the base coat, then size and print the flags to get the layout. i used a plotted to cut the stars instead of hand cutting it. Had to tape out the lines then spray all the red colors, shade red, shade white, and then the do the blue. In hindsight I probably could have done all the ripples at once then just taped and used kandies to do the reds. I'll need to experiment and see if that would have worked. I worked the reds and white separately and I think that added to the time. Then mask the Bowtie, shade, drop shadow and highlight. Then i still had to clear coat it, 3 coats, and cut and polish. I'm still sort of new to airbrushing stuff like this (been doing RC cars mostly) so I'm still learning .
