It all seems pretty odd. I have worked on a few movies, and its pretty obvious when you are getting near a scene. Roads are blocked, off duty cops are standing by. Usually road blocks of some type. Everyone is on radios.

They will have 4,5,6 spare Bumblebees. They can't afford to have a single of any car. If something goes wrong with one,they always have multiple spares.

I didn't see much brake and avoid driving there, more brake and holy $h_t! No collision ends well when a car meets a push bar/grill guard on an SUV.

Good to see no one was seriously hurt.

sucks the car got ruined but glad that everyone involved was okay... like CamaroSkooter said... good thing he didn't hit any of the other vehicles, the outcome would have been WAY worse for the officer!

He's just lucky that he hit Bumblebee and not Ironhide, Ratchet, Optimus, or the Ferrari. This could have been MUCH worse because he simply ignored his surroundings.

Lastly, I hope this ends up on the Special Edition Blu-Ray. I want to see what Michael Bay's reaction to this is. This is a rediculous incident that never should have happened. Sure, they probably have a backup Bumblebee or two, but this kind of blunder is just not acceptable on a movie of this scale.

That would be interesting to see/watch!

It wasn't like the cop was coming out of nowhere. Basic driving 101 would tell you to always make sure what is coming into the path of where you are turning. BB was supposed to turn from the blind corner. I know that if i was on a movie set, ready to do my next scene, i sure as hell wont be expecting a Police Tahoe to just come barroling down the production set.
I know what you mean in terms of everyday driving, you must be aware of all other vehicles, especially emergency vehicles, but on a closed set of a movie, thats a whole different story

im almost glad i didnt get off of work so i could go watch the filming. Seeing it is bad enough dont want to have to witness a camaro getting destroyed like that.
