I had a Maggie at one time with 10 psi 60 lb injectors baby cam with around 610 rwhp through 6speed man on a bap for a good while. I upgraded to the zl1 pump at one time but didn't have to just did it since we were dropping the rear.

I agree with taking the car and getting it dyno tuned. I have purchased everything I have from Vengeance and did the same data logging and email tuning. I contacted them about doing the same with my whipple, but in the end I went with Mike Norris because he was close enough to me he could dyno tune it. I just felt safer having a pro do the tune on the dyno when it came to the forced induction. That way they can catch problems like your having. I would get you a ZL1 pump and it will likely solve all your problems. They're less than $300 from the dealer.

Where is Mike Norris located..I hadn't heard about him until just recently.

I'm sure Vengeance could get this right, but they are 12 hours away

If I can find a decent deal on a LPE setup, I'm leaning that way. I'm kinda turned off on the BAP now. If I can't find a decent deal on an LPE, then a ZL1 pump will have to do. I don't want to go through the trouble of replacing the pump more than once, and really wish I didn't have to do it at all. I had a budget for this build.....I'm at it...and now I need a fuel pump. I guess deep down I never was comfortable with the BAP anyway. I really hate to spend $1000 on a pump and another 500-600 for a dyno tune, but I want my car right. I was pushing the clutch, axles, and rear suspension off until spring (trying to keep everything happy on the homefront if you know what I mean), but just want to be done so I can enjoy this car. As soon as I come up with a solution for the fuel issue, I think the rest of the items might just "show" up on my doorstep before winter........man these cars get expensive!

If you want to come to Indy I am sure I can help you out. I will say I have seen a few stock LS3 pumps not handle fueling a supercharged car and it can be the luck of the draw it seems. I have the stock pumps make 625 with a BAP and others die at 525.

The ZL1 pump and BAP seems to work well. But since you have a Whipple, and I have heard a few things about some different packages, I have a couple questions.

Did you get a complete Whipple kit with their injectors and BAP? Or did you get a Tuner kit and the injectors and BAP were supplied seperately? The reason I ask is that I have seen some Whipples supplied with re-sized injectors and a BAP that does not have the proper Whipple program in it. These two things can possibly cause issues.

Hope this helps.

Mike,

It was a tuner kit, Vengeance supplied the FIC 60 lb injectors and kenne belle BAP. They also have been doing the tuning. I have the dial on the kenne belle BAP set to full rich, and my stock fuel pump control unit has roughly 17 volts to work with when the BAP see's 5psi of boost. I know the MSD BAP's are programable, however my kenne belle simply uses a manual switch ranging from 0 to 50...it is set at 50! It is the same BAP that Lingenfelter badges as their own if that helps...both are kenne bell units.

If you want to run a return line and regulator you could try a Squash Performance system... More fuel than you can ever use, it's quiet, etc.

I'm sure it's a great system, but I really don't plan on adding any more boost or power to my current setup. I think that setup is overkill for me, but thanks.

From all of the PM's I've gotton, it looks like the ZL1 pump combined with a BAP is working for tons of you guys very well. I still don't like the idea of a BAP after my current experience, but I'm definitely going to take another look at that route.

Once the fueling issue is handled, I'll let Mike continue with the remote tuning. Hopefully I can get some real driving time in on this thing before the white stuff starts flying here in Ohio. On a side note, since the remote tune is difficult at times, is there a tuner closer to me in Ohio that is on par with the regualars here on the forum? I'm sure Mike at Vengeance could fix me up if I was there in person, but I'm 12 hours away and he is doing everything he can at this point remotely. We may get it sorted out once the new pump is installed, but just incase we can't......I need Ohio tuning suggestions please.

Thanks to everyone for the responses and the abundance of help.
