Pace Car vs. IOM 2SS/RS

Greetings!

I wanted to say hello to everyone and thank the members of this great forum. Your incredible insight and humor makes this place awesome!!!

I got to thinking tonight about which new 2010 Camaro was more desirable as a driver so I thought I would ask your opinion. I know this very much a personal taste issue and there are many of you that would choose neither! I get it, but I would still welcome your opinion between the two.

If money was not an issue which would you choose? The Indy Pace car or a IOM Auto 2SS with black stripes?

Thanks for your input!

Not the pace car, I would not want it because I would not want to mod it or drive it since it will probably be a collector car one day.

I say you get and IOM SS manual

not a question, why pay more for the custom made car that really isnt any better than the 2SS, or at leasgt what you can make it to be, the Indy pace car has to be AS IS, otherwise your car you can make your "own"..

I chose just IOM SS, only because I have yet to see a pace car with a manual (guess they don't get one?).

Besides, the Pace car is too flashy for me, I'd rather just have an orange car.

i would love the pace car because it is rare.you can still mod the engine.anything you bolt on,you can take back off.it will have a very good resale value.

Like everyone else I would buy the pace car ONLY to keep it as a collectible, and that's a lot of money to keep in the garage, but to each there own right? That being said to have as a DD or even as a weekend car I would go with the IOM 2SS, just for the simple fact you can mod it later.

Hey, good point- if money isn't an issue get both!

I don't see why I would pass on 1 of 200. I'll take the pace car.
