Hey, Southlake and surrounding C5ers, I think it's time for another meet. I was thinking we could make it a combo meet and short cruise to view Transformers 3. Let's get this discussion going for a date and time.

Saturday July 2nd @ 5:30
Meeting on top floor of parking garage @ south side of Harkins Theater
Transformers 3 Showtime is at 7:10 pm

I would love to catch transformers on opening weekend but I know it'll be impossible to get reserved parking anywhere out at Harkins.

They've got the parking garage at Harkins though, and the top two levels are usually always next to empty. I went to see Inception opening weekend and didn't even have to go all the way to the top level. As far as the date, my schedule is made usually 2-3 weeks out so if I'm lucky it hasn't been made yet and I can ask them to work 8-5 on that Saturday!

Just a warning about going to Southlake, I went to see Pirates 4 there the day after it came out at a matinee and we still got stuck at the bottom. You'll want to be at the theater at least an hour before the movie to get good seats.

I'm in. If parking is an issue at Harkins, we can also consider Grapevine Tinsel Town. It may not be quite as nice as Harkins, but there is plenty of parking and I bet we could all get a spot together. I bet if we contacted the management there they would also rope off a section for us. It is good PR for them.

I'm not so worried about parking Southlake, I just know the first time I went to see Transformers 2 I got stuck on the bottom, and with Pirates 4 as well. And that was arriving about 20 minutes early to both. We're gonna need to get over to Southlake early, and we can just park on the top level of that garage and the cars will be fine! Worst thing that's ever happened to mine over there was some girl wrote on it with that car paint when it was like 2 weeks old.... Haha. Another option is there's a new (small, 14 screen) theater in Lake Worth that's all digital and really nice. Although I'm not sure about the parking situation there, I might be going to see a movie there tonight so I'll take a look.
