1LE delay update

I HEARD from a lil birdie that the hold up with the 1LE's (in part) is there is a shortage of wheels for them.
As we know they are the same new wheels as the ZL1's and they are taking priority right now so us 1LE purchasers are low on the totem pole.

................. .:bangdesk:......

How reliable is this information? Was that the same holdup for the ZL1's?

Is the 1LE on constraint? Last I heard production was supposed to ramp up week by week.

It hasn't. I have been trying to order one and looks like production has ramped down based on the orders they are pulling. I ended up pulling my order. I will try again after winter.

My dealer called me yesterday to let me know I could order my 1LE....

I'm going to stop over next week to discuss pricing & ordering.

Does anyone know the latest date you can order a Camaro?

Send a message via MSN to Scott@Bjorn3D
They are not even going to start production on them till October. There are a few with TPW for the last week of September but they would not leave the line till first of October.

I kind of like this delay....

It makes waiting till spring to order one a little easier

Good luck waiting until spring with a limited number of these available. I was in the same shoes as you but then saw how many peole are interested in it. Then i figured if i wait till spring i will not be able to get one and then here we go, 2014 next on the list.

Last I heard, there are no production limits. They will build what is ordered.

Unlike this year, production dates should be back to normal next year, which should mean last order date will be in May.

I'm ordering mine in the Spring as well. For me, that will be late February, early March.
