LSA Mod Help.

Those that have done 2.55 Pulley, Ported snout, and intake:

What was you injector duty cycle?
Did you add injectors for above Mods?
If so which one?
Who tuned you car.

Getting ready to do this and not sure if I need injectors.

Thanks.

I did the Lingenfelter 630 package on my car, which consists of the modifications you mentioned. Not sure what the duty cycle of the injectors were, but I did not have to replace the stock injectors for those mods. Tuned by MTI Racing in Marietta, GA.

you will likely be around +95% DC. Anymore more power upgrades and you will need injectors

Here's a nice calc that will help you pick the right injectors for the expected power level.

69SS was at a dealer picking up 3 new fleet vehicles today. Your exact color combo was on floor. Wow I must admit it was stunning. White and black looks good in pictures but in person is a knockout. (This is coming from a GT500 owner too! Wife's car is the V). I was impressed to say the least.

I am getting those same mods done and adding a cam also and will need bigger injectors. I am going with the ID850's

Stock engine will hit 93% duty cycle. I know I am over 100% now. How many of you know that you can up the fuel pressure in the tune. And you will effectively have larger injectors. The ZR1 has same injectors as ZL1 but programmed to run at higher pressure.

car has ls9 cam, cold air and 2.38 pulley, no ported blower or anything else..... made 577 on a mustang dyno and has went 11.40s at 126 at a 4450 race weight.. gets driven very day by my wife... has 45,000 miles on it now..stock injectors... auto car..
they are maxed out right now.. but the car runs like a stripped ass ape..
i keep reading about these zl cars being maxed out from the factory or in the 90% range... i dont believe it, but it is what it is..

my zl has id 850s in it, but I did 2.38, headers, fully ported blower and cold air.. I am doing a cam in a few weeks. without the cam he id850s are at 78% on my zl right now..

Same injectors get cranked to 87 psi in a ZR1 under high load conditions compared to only 65 psi in a ZL1. This is easily changed in HPTuners.

This is also what I was told. Stock in injectors just need more pressure from pump. Anyone know how bad this is for stock pump?

I'm leaning towards the ID850's as well, big $$ though.
