Battery issue???

hey guys

last weekend i put my battery in my zl1 an was drive a little bit. now the winter is back again. today i deconnect the battery and see batterywater in the tube. From what comes this. my car hav 5000 km and thru the winter storage, the battery was charging in my appartment.

battery

wow, winter won't quit here either... you might be overcharging your batterry, fully charged it only needs about two amps to keep iy fully charged,, you might be cooking the plates.

What he said. You're over charging the battery and cooking the plates. You need to put it on a trickle charger and not on a full charge.

The battery was on a trickle charger. And the tube i let in the car. This issue comes first time now on the car. The volt meter shows all normal on the car.

You're probably good then. Check the tube in a couple of days to see if the battery is still bleeding. If so have a load test done on it.
