77880 gets blue interior LEDs.

I installed my blue interior LEDs today. This is the 106 Blue LED kit that some of you have been asking about. This kit is available on eBay from seller LEDBulbz.
http://cgi.ebay.ca/BLUE-106-LED-Inte...item230506386e

Shipping was fast. Items were well packed. The kit included two license plate LEDs and also has a blue LED for the trunk as well. Got it all installed earlier today. Took some pictures at night for you all. The blue lights really go well with the dash lights. The blue dome light LED is very bright, really well put together. The footwell strips are perfect as well. Even my mom thought it was cool! Anyway, I highly recommend this kit for anyone looking to install this upgrade. The picture of the interior is dark due to the camera. In real life the intensity of the LED is about 3 times brighter. Trust me, they are bright enough! But not too bright. I am very happy with them!

This was really easy to install. The hardest is wiring in the footwell LED strips into the BCM wiring for the dome light. The hardest part about it is just accessibility. You kinda have to work upside down and twist yourself to get to it. First of all, follow the directions from this thread,
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54183
I will add in what I did a little differently. As for the BCM grey connector, it is the one closest to the middle of the car. The wire you will tap into is also grey, so that is easy. Be careful because there is white wire there too that can look grey in the dark. I am a mechanic by trade and I hate Scotch-locks. I really don't think they are reliable. I don't like how they cut into the conductor in the wires themselves. I always use butt connectors and shrink tube. You can't get access properly to the wire itself with the harness tied up and the grey connector connected to the BCM. You will find a bunch of black plastic zip-ties holding the wiring together. I cut the last 3 zip ties and disconnected the connector from BCM and let the harness hang down so I could work on it. This gave me plenty of working room and wire length. I made a "Y" or "T" butt connection with a short piece of wire to a fuse socket that will have only a 2 amp fuse in it. After the fuse I had another "T" splice/butt connection so I had two power feeds for the two LED strips. The strips themselves are easy to mount under the dash. I just zip-tied them to the underside. There are a few holes already there in the duct work and bottom of the dash panels to run the zip ties through so there is no need for drilling any holes. I ran the strips so the wire leads faced the middle of the car. I connected one power wire to the drivers side strip. For the passenger side power wire I just had a section of wire about the length of my arm or so and just pushed it by hand through to the other side in behind the center of the dash. I just partially removed both side panels from the center console to access this area. This is also where you will ground the lights at. There is some clearance through the middle. You can actually see through from one side to the other. Run the power wire through and connect it to the passenger strip. With these strips the wire with red in it is positive. These wires are very thin, hard to strip the insulation so be careful of that too. Grounding was easy. I just bought some eyelets to crimp on the end of the wire. You need an eyelet that will fit around a M8 bolt or 5/16" or so. I grounded the lights on each side of the console the same in the TonyNo's post. The LED strips have enough wire that you do not need to add wire to reach these grounding locations. Once it was all wired I simply plugged the grey connector back in and whalla! You can re zip tie the factory harness if you want, but I didn't because I thought it was secure enough. I did tie up my wiring so it would not hang down and look good. The rest of the lights were a snap. Just a matter of removing the lens covers and replacing the bulbs. LEDs only allow current to flow in one direction so it does matter which way you install them. There are no indications on the bulbs themselves of which is positive or negative. Make sure you have the dome light switch turn on manually when installing them. If the LED does not light up, simply remove and turn it to reverse the contact pins. The license plate bulbs were a bit tricky to get out. The light assembly is easy to remove from the bumper. Getting the light socket out of the assembly was hard. All you have to do is twist the socket about a 1/8 turn counterclock wise to get the socket out. Mine were really tight and I was really afraid they were going to break. I had to go online and re read my owners manual to make sure I wasn't making a mistake. It was just that hard! But they did pop out. Same thing, make sure your lights are on as you plug these in to make sure you get the proper orientation. Here is a little hint. Go to your auto parts store and get some dielectric grease. Apply it to the socket's electrical contacts. This will prevent them from corroding and rusting in the future.
Warning! When I disconnected the grey connector from the BCM both doors locked. Make sure you don't accidentally lock yourself out.
I would like to thank TonyNo for his original post and pictures.

I did my foot wells in blue also. The blue looks very nice even with the IO interior, much better than red did.I did the dome and license plate lights in white. They have a blueish hue to them

I wouldn't worry about it. Not all tracking numbers are trackable for us. They are just shipped in an envelope with bubble wrap. I think the tracking number is for his automatic registered shipping billing for online payment or whatever.
