If I'm in park the RPM needle wiggles,,,,, It also wiggles when I'm stopped at a red light in drive... And yes the car is warm.... I never had a car that did that,,, the needle always stood still.... Is that normal for this car ? Thanks

i have the same problem, took it to the dealership and they said that its normal for this car!!! at the same time i had a look at a brand new camaro from the lot and it did the same thing!!! ur fine there nothing wrong with ur car!!!!

I had a couple of late model Corvettes and a Saturn Sky Redline. All of the tachs showed a little movement at idle. It's not an issue unless it's more than a few hundred RPM.

the car wont be able to perfectly stay at the same RPM at idle...but if its dropping down below 600-800rpm or exceeding 1200 rpm, or bouncing back and forth between that range then you may have an issue. Otherwise its fine.

I've had a L99 and LS3 and they both did that at idle.

Mine doesn't do it AT ALL. But of course it DOES stick. Like it's too tight somewhere. kinda goes down in smal intervals.

they to have a decent cam in them at least i know the ls3 does.

Engine warm, the needle on mine takes commands only from my right foot, otherwise, always steady (no noticeable jump or dip).

This happens because the RPM gauge on the Camaro is not a "Idiot" Gauge like the ones on most cars.

(At least it wasn't on the 4th gens anyway.)

In other words, don't worry, your car is actually trying to tell you the TRUE RPM that your engine is operating at.

Don't complain about it being more accurate!

As long as it doesn't do a barrel roll, you're probably fine
