Hey guys,
I'm finally getting around to posting some pictures of my new '11 SIM SS Camaro. As you can guess, this thread was instrumental in me picking Silver Ice Metallic for the color. To me, SIM seems to be the perfect color for showing off the Camaro's bold body lines, not to mention, I think it's a very practical color. Silver seems to stay cleaner looking longer between washes, doesn't show those fine spider web scratches too bad, and it doesn't adsorb the heat when it's parked outside in the summer. (yeah, we get both the hot and cold extremes of the weather here in Kansas...ugh!) I ordered it on 12/28/10. It's a 2SS with the LS3 and manual transmission and no other options. Kind of plain and simple on the outside, nice and comfortable on the inside, brand new, and real fast. Just what I always wanted. It was delivered to the dealer on 2\9/11 and I brought it home on the 11th of February, about 2 weeks ago. The weather here had been bad just before it came in, so I didn't drive it for about a week. But while it was in the garage waiting for good weather and roads, I was able to take my time detailing it with my new Adam's kit. I finally started driving it about a week ago when the roads dried out, and boy, are these cars are fun to drive or what? I'd be out driving right now but the weather is bad again. The only mod I've done to it so far is the skip shift eliminator. I'm thinking about an MGW shifter next though. (Can you tell I can't get enough of going through the gears? It's an addiction.) So anyway, here's a few pictures I took when it had just 19 miles on the odometer. Thanks for listening to another proud new SIM owner, and thanks for all those pictures you guys posted!

I have the black rally stripes but I am really thinking about removing the stripes though, the clean SIM look is so sweet.

yeah pretty much, hehe BUT I was also looking at getting black hood spears with some black-out panel action with a black havoc spoiler to keep the black/silver thing going.
