Seems to me they have some more work to do. I would think anyone who wants to upgraded their shifter to a short throw shifter would want a short throw shifter, not a halfway short throw shifter.

I have over a thousand miles on my Hurst short throw and I'm glad I waited. Very smooth shifting and a slight notch going into second but it seems to be common.

Ok so I have a question about this... I bought my 2011 camaro that came with a dealer installed hurst package that included the aftermarket shifter, floor mats, and decal badges that were put under the camaro decals on both sides. My question is even though it didn't come from the factory with the actual GM hurst shifter, how is the value of the car going to be when it comes time for it to turn classic??? I mean I didn't add it, the dealer had it installed as soon as they recieved the car from the factory. So does that make it unique, or does this drop the value, they put the factory shifter in the trunk, so I have both and I have paperwork that states the dealer added the shifter...

There will be no difference at all in value. I'd personally want the shorter throwing after market shifter anyway regardless if it was a Hurst.

Used 75 Camaro = $3500
Rolling restoration over 10 years = $5000
$5 of gas burned in 10 seconds = Priceless!

My 2LT is gone, my 2SS in on it's way!

BW Prod, I ordered the 2SS/RS because the V6 LLT Camaro I bought last year spun a bearing at 6400 Miles. I no longer drive the 2LT so I will change my sig to reflect that. tks for pointing that out!

EXACT same shifter I have ordered from factory and LOVE mine, Very nice feel, Low handle so your arm is more comfortable than being high like aftermarket, and very nice throw on shifter, Good job GM, (2) Thumbs up
