Find another dealer or hook up with one on here. I would never pay a penny over MSRP for a car that you'll be able to get for invoice somewhere else.

Simple solution....either pay the freight or move on. Supply and demand sometimes work in strange ways, whether we like it or not. Bottom line, you control the checkbook, so its your decision, and yours alone. I really can not fault the dealer since you did not mention him holding a gun to your head?

Seriously if i was in the US i so would have ordered from one of the dealer here! Heck if i had known about this site before going to my local dealer i would have ordered from the one Canadian dealer. I have never met any of the dealers here but i think they are more trustworthy than my clueless local dealers. At the very least they are more knowledgeable!

I hate when they ruin a good thing with their greed. Go back in January and see if they change their mind. You should be getting 2-3K off the sticker !

I would use one of our forum members like Becky or Scotty. If your local dealers are dirty then buy it out of state.

As others have said just order from one of the dealers here. I have worked with CamaroScotty and Becky Rodgers on stuff in the past and they have been great.

Yes the pricing is ridiculous, but so is the fact that you've been without a car for so long!
If you have absolutely needed a car, then you should be driving a junker until the vert comes out - it's you're own fault if you've been w/o a car for a long period of time |

Waiting list? I'm pretty sure we have dealers on this site with allocations and no markups. In fact, I'm sure of it.
Hmmm, dealer mark up on Camaro; now the convertible; coming soon - the Z28. They want to keep the lights on they should take care of the customer.

If you think a $5000 markup is bad, just wait until the Z28 comes out. The first buyers will probably pay $25K over sticker...
