Saturday night BSing after everyone had left.

Ok. A little backstory for this one. You guys have read my posts about the huge favor Scott did for me. Well here it is. Saturday evening when people were paking up and heading back to the hotel, Scott asked if someone could help him cover up the SSX. (with a Buick cover mind you ).
So I went to help him and on the way back, I thought I'd give it a shot and ask if I could sit in the ZL1 and just take some pictures of us sitting in it.
He said, "sure", and handed me the key..... Of course he just asked not to take any pictures of the inside. But there I was holding the key to my dream car and no one around to tell me I couldn't sit in it.

Here are the pictures

I removed the VIN fromt his one because I'm not sure if it would be ok.

me holding up my "I'm a boss bracelet" (which I'm still wearing right now)

Tag got his turn

and Mindz

and Raven

This one was just too priceless to not post

Mrs. Tag driving THR #2. You might have to blame Pink for that one. She let her driver her car and got excited for driving the husband's car.

Did you happen to get a video of the Hankook car drifting around the Auto X?

Host hotel partying

These are just the random pictures I took of people "socializing" in the host hotel parking lot.

Killer towering over everyone

and later digging through the trash

Inside joke, those that were there will get it.

This is how Tag drinks 4 beers at a time.

The CVC partying hard

The moderators and friends group

I said, "say cheese!" and they posed

Then Shardik said, well we have to make him feel better and go down to his level.

Then DaHose said, "we need to go down a little more.

The whole time PQ was just sitting there and taking the jokes like a champ. But I had to take a picture of his sunburn

The Texas crew and their makeshift bar table

Killer and I, going out for a beer run in the pink camaro.
Oh, the looks we got when we got out at the gas station.

The drive back home

We left the hotel by ourselves, but luckily Becka and Pyroboy caught up to us and we convoyed to Quartzite.
When we arrived, Orange Krate and his wife were there, we had a laugh about meeting random people on the road. Next thing you know, Mike Haddad showed up with his G8 and another white SS. We decided we were all convoying bakc together.
Mike asked what time we were heading out, I said in a few minutes, but we were goign to cruise at 75 (5 over the limit), to let Mindz catch up with us.
He said, "Damn, I don;t know if I can go that slow"

We ran into an accident around Coachella. Apperantly one of the Socal people that left before we did, stopped to help the lady out.

And with those final pictures, I would like to thank everyone, that was there and even those who weren't.
All the people inolved in planning this, I did nothing involved in the planning but helping out with what I could when I got there.

All the moderators who were present and helping out.
Tribone, GTAHVIT, Tag UR IT, Killer, Mindz, C_C, DG, and Dragoneye.
And those who weren't there, for helping to hold down the fort.
Spike, Blur, Moose, and rad (had the baby yet?).

Also to Tran and Mark LS2. Without you two and this site, none of this would have happened.

Finally to The GM team for being so friendly and readily available to people. For standing in the heat for 3 hours signing people's car's. And once again to Scott, for letting us sit in the ZL1. I will never forget that, and I will never forget the feeling of sitting in it. I was litterlly shaking from the excitedness afterwards.
The entire weekend was beyond permagrin and I am still smiling from ear to ear as I am posting these pictures and videos remembering the great times we had with the great people of this site.

I was interviewd by the GM media team and they asked me what was this even about and what exactly I do as a moderator.
All I could think of saying was expanding the camaro commmunity.
That is what we are here for. We are here for you, our members first and foremost. We are here providing a friendly venue to socialize and to find any information you want and/or need.
We are here for you, the members, and without you and the Camaro spirit, we wouldn't be around doing what we love to do, hanging out with like-minded people for one purpose, to burn gas, tires, and countless energy, just for the fun of it.

Thank you everyone.
