If you're gonna blow that much on accessories, get it when that GENERATION is new. IE 2016 not 2021 when a new generation is VERY likely to happen. Otherwise, live with what you've got.
A decade is a long time. Cars change, technology changes. You don't hear people, paying thousands in computer parts, complaining a few years down the road when they have to buy new computer parts to be compatible with newer technology, games, and programs. *facepalm*

But damn some of those classics in mint shape are ****ing gorgeous. Despite all their shortcomings vs new cars and tech.

Yeah this made me laugh thanks OP!! Apparently automobiles change even though they have the same name. Good luck getting un-screwed.

Now that I've read all these pages, I feel like I got screwed.

Funny thing is, if you click on thr gofundme link, it's still up. 10 dollars raised so far because a forum member actually felt bad for the guy and donated... smh.

The parts from the 5th Gen SS and 6th Gen SS may not be interchangeable but my 73 year old ass fits in my 17SS as well as it did in my 15SS!

That is comforting. You have given me a 10 year window forward for my @$$ to fit in a Camaro. My 63 YO @$$ fits fine in my 18ZL1.
