I parked next to a CGM today at Patrick Henry Mall. Weird thing was it didn't have RS or SS badging yet had no spoiler - but had the 20" rims, sunroof and leather. So am I right in assuming that they debadged it?

I'm curious as to whether the DC and MD folks have a front license plate. I'm loath to put one on. I may consider moving to PA, or at least register the car there. I didn't see a thread for this for out area, and I'm wondering if people that don't have a front plate mounted have gotten stopped much or even ticketed.

I picked up one of the top flight front plates that requires no drilling. 3M tape is loads easier to deal with, and with a Rally "Please Pull Me Over" Yellow car, I'm not taking my chances

I've been considering the Swift hideaway holder. My only hesitation is it states it requires some modification if the GFX package was installed.

Has anyone spotted a Camaro pulled over? I'm curious as to whether there are any areas within our region that are more hard over than other areas. Not just with the license plate, but in general.

I was traveling on I-70 just west of Hwy 27, and there was a trooper with a gun (not sure if it was radar or laser). I was in the left lane cruising right along and my radar detector went off. I checked my speed and I was doing 73 (65 posted limit) and as I came around the corner I saw him. As I passed him I was checking my mirror and it was pretty darn funny how fast he spun around to clock me from behind.

I don't have a front plate, so either he didn't notice or didn't care.

I live in DC and have no choice but to have the front license plate. I'm sure they don't stop people just for this but may use it as "probable cause" to stop you for another reasons. Like drool over my car!

Actually it doesn't really look bad or out of place at all.

I got pulled in MD in a ford focus for not having a front plate. I use strip ties to mount the bracket to Bmblbee's bottom grill. Works good and you don't have to drill.

I ordered a bracket that mounts underneath to the pre exsisting bolts since its mandatory to have a front plate here in va.. it cost about $100 off ebay but it works perfectly, no drilling and comes with a rubber gasket to keep the plate from bouncing off the grill

Saw an IBM LS with white Rally Stripes in Fredericksburg on Saturday. Down around Cosners Corner on Route 1. Looked like maybe a Father/Son duo riding around. We exchanged waves. Their car looked great!
