SUB 12.'s easy. Tires = 11.5 knock knock knocking on the door! Maybe 11.4?? Good tree, good air pressure. The ZL1 deserves a "real" track day... with the AUTO and FLUFFY TIRES; Please don't take out the rear seat or install a roll cage. Not needed til it hits 10.5. :respect:

OK my forecast : 2012 ZL1 Auto = 11.5 (w/drag tires on each) Otherwise... all stock components.

Yes we haven't seen a good vid of the ZL1 on a VHT prepped track with a good 60 foot time which is all important to a good ET. The horsepower is good for mid 11's based on the 118 mph speeds. It all depends on how it gets going off the line to post an 11's run. It will need a 1.65 ish 60 foot to run mid 11's. It seems the all important 60 foot time is never mentioned. A small correction to your post is that the cut off time for a roll bar is 11.49 and cage is 9.99 in NHRA rules.

Great video. I projected an 11.78 several months ago. Based on the advertised HP & weight. Looks like that maybe close. Now mod it, and we should see some 10s.

I believe that runs at mode 4 and with PTM turned completely off were performed. It was stated the mode 5 is designed for a VHT prepped track, which Inde did not have.

This video gave me a sigh of relief, but anyone who owns a Camaro SS knew mid to high 12s were wrong and very slow for a car with these credentials. Most of us guessed about right earlier when we believed sub 12 second runs would be easy. What I don't understand in this thread is why anyone including Ford guys would criticize the video using words like false (post 12)! I would think everyone would celebrate, if only because you're a car guy or gal regardless of the logo on the hood!!

What 'Bear said.

I'm trying to find if there is an "OFF" function for PTM. I believe the Reviewer said that he ran without it, and that he launched just over 2000 RPMs for a faster, but not as consistant time. Maybe he just meant Mode 4...

That was a good review. I think the numbers are pretty dang good!

Anyone else notice that it was very quiet in the cabin? I wonder if the in cabin volume edited down.

So in the ZL1 you will floor the gas pedal and use the clutch and upshift like normal but keep your right foot down, don't lift! (Hence "NO LIFT" shift)

Google the feature or read some of the ZL1 reviews on this site again in case you missed it!
are you saying that we can't speed shift or "no-lift shift" with the 2010 cars? There is a rev limiter so i assumed it was no problem. I have only had mine a couple weeks and have not been very hard on it yet. Thanks for any help.

If you read the review in Road & Track, you'll see CAMARO is quieter than Godzilla Quieter than a supercar? Nice
