Rear Camber Adjustment Question?
For those of you who have adjusted your REAR CAMBER, using the eccentric bolt in the lower control arm to get it close to factory specs., could you please tell me how about how much change IN DEGREES that you get for every 1/4 turn that you make on the adjusting bolt.
Also do you turn the adjustment bolt clockwise or counter clockwise, to REDUCE the negative camber that is caused from lowering the car. After lowering the Camaro 2 in. using Pfadt feather light coil overs with the red GMPP springs, the wheels are now tilted in 5/8 to 3/4 in. at the top of the rear wheels. If I have done my math correctly, that is about MINUS THREE DEGREES of NEGATIVE CAMBER. I would like to be at MINUS ONE DEGREE when finished to match the front wheels. I have the front wheels adjusted to MINUS ONE DEGREE OF NEGATIVE CAMBER, and the front wheels are tilted in at the top of the wheels about 1/4 in. Any help with the camber adjustment would be GREATLY appreciated. All The Best, Red 2010 Camaro |

From my understanding you won't be able to get to neg1 with lowering 2" and the stock eccentrics. Best you can do is max them out. As for which direction, it shouldn't matter as they should rotate a full 360. Just turn until you get all the camber you can out. I would look into aftermarket eccentrics and a proper alignment.

Mine is 2" lowered and set at -.5* and have enough left to get 0 camber.

You were fortunate, best my alignment guy could get was -0.5, and still hold the toe at 0, which was more important from what I was told. The toe and camber apparently both move when you make an eccentric adjustment, at least that is what I was told. Might have been able to solve it with just the BMR toe rods, but decided to make sure on my first try.

Yeah, by what I've seen on the web my car turned good but I will say that my toe adjustment is almost maxed out. I've got some camber adjustment left but not much toe adjustment.

The stock eccentrics are good for 1 degree total, so you have half a degree on one side and half on the other, if they are neutral. This means every 90 degree turn is roughly .25 degrees
