hello i just joined this site and im currently transforming my stock 92 rs 305 tbi into i mild street strip car im lookg at a 4 bolt main 350 +.030 block to get started with but my first question is that i ran across a rearend out of a 96 firebird with a 3:55 posi mine is currently a 3:08 (im assuming .. 80mph= 2,300rpm) open rear now will a 4th gen f body bolt up to my 3rd gen plus this rear is disk break and i currently have drums thank you for any info by the way awsome website i look forward to any and all help

Only difference is the 4th gen rearend is about 2 inches wider per side so you need to use 4th gen wheels, the stock wheels dont have enough backspacing. Then you can put spacers in the front to bolt on the front 4th gen wheels.

Do you know who put in the 3.55 gear, a 4th gen should be a 3.08,3.23 or 3.42 at best stock.
