New system!
hey guys, so its been a long time since i have made a mod to my car. Last month i decided to go for an audio upgrade from my stock system. I looked around and went with 2 10inch rockfordfosgate subs with a custom box made here locally. An amp same brand is powering it 1000 watts. The system sounds really good and i am very pleased with the results. They really do give you the punch the bass needs. To go with the subs i went ahead and got myself the metra kit with the new appradio3 by pioneer recently launced 2 weeks ago. This screen isnt for everyone. it is really smartphone based. Once its connected to your smartphone, it will mirror everything making the display identical to your phone. I have gps, pandora, iheart radio, netflix, youtube, a browser, and txt messaging in the screen, I personally love it! so here are some pics.

Very nice. Any rattles? Did you dampen anywhere in the trunk?

i did not dampen anything inside the trunk at all. I have the bass at around level 30 -40% with the volume knob inside the cabin, no rattle at all.. once the bass is around 80% there is a little rattle in the right side of the anvil spoiler.. i went ahead and removed the anvil and placed double sided 3m tape on the corner it was rattling and it fixed the problem. I rarely move up the bass that high though lol..
as for the metra kit, i have about 1 week with it and there hasnt been any problems, at all. i did notice that when the blinker goes on, theres a different sound as before but there isnt any problems with it. it does work great.. i too was a little skeptical at first but i had to try it lol so no problems with the kit at all works great!
