Bowling Green is unbeatable. Anywhere else in the east coast and your just backing up imo for what you get in a location. I do agree that the west needs something as well but as LSFest has seen and worked towards is the east is the largest market and easiest to manage. Once they got big enough they added another fest. Imo its perfect now with both being operated.
CamaroFest will have to work it the same way. I absolutely love having a venue I can look forward to thats in the same spot and time frame. My life is way too busy to have different spots and times each year.
Prime examples as Ive said before:
LSFest- same spot and same time
Mustang week- same spot and same time
Woodward Dream Cruise- same spot and same time
All are super successful and grow each year.
This is coming from someone thats been to BG probably 20 times. Id go every year even if it was a 14 hour drive like Detroit is(which I go each year on average).

Your 100% right Bo i think the complainers just want to use an excuse not to go. You get people driving 14 to 20hrs every fest some do it every year other do it multiple times for LSFest etc. CamaroFest atm is once a year having a set location and timeframe is best for growth until they have the financial ability to branch out to other areas. Let's face it Bowling Green is a great location and pretty well centrally located for 80% of those going.

But moving is something that sets us apart from other events and this mindset is not abandoned, but super tough to do.

Like reinventing the wheel every time you move.

I look at it like going to the same beach every year but having all your buddys with you. My buddys make the trip. I love going to the beach. If Im going to meet up with tons of friends there it makes the trip so much more. Especially if the beach had all that there is to offer for a beech.....I mean beach....
