CS5?

Anyone using it? Just want to see if it's worth the upgrade.

I'm using CS5. It's worth it. HDR isn't all that on it, but "Content Aware Fill" helps a lot! It's not perfect, but all in all thumbs up.

i doubt it's any different. Student editions have always been just "Academic Pricing", students can get it for considerably cheaper. they want the students to start using it so they're trained and familiar with the interface, then once they're out in the workforce they need to pay full retail.

if you're eligible for student pricing, there's no reason to pay full retail.

PS is just a hobby of mine, lately i haven't had time to do any requests here. CS4 can do more than i've ever needed, and it runs fine for me. if i got serious about doing design/photo processing i'd upgrade; but since i'm a noob hobbyist, probably not.

agreed.. cs3 works fine for as much as I use it.. If it was my career to do this, then I may upgrade.
